Raguel is an uncommonly known Angel of Judaic tradition, whose name is considered to mean "Friend of God".
Raguel is the archangel of justice, harmony, and vengeance. In the Book of Enoch, he is one of the seven angels who observe, and his function is to punish luminaries who transgress God's laws.
Raguel is not mentioned in the Bible. In 2 Enoch, when the patriarch Enoch visited heaven as a mortal, it was Raguel who carried him to and from the mortal world, along with the angel Sariel or Samuil.
