One bright summer morning a man was walking down the beach, his toes digging into the sand, when he saw a young boy walking down closer to the water. Curious, the man came closer and saw that the beach was covered in Star Fish, brought up in the high tide and sure to die before the tide returned. The man called out to the boy, "Son, I know you mean well, but there's a hundred miles of beach here and thousands of Star Fish. Do you really think what you're doing makes a difference?" The boy lifted up another Star Fish and gently flung it into the sea, "It makes a difference to that one." -Legend of the Starfish
